AUMNH Staff member gives mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to a turtle

Check out the article below in which David Steen, a postdoctoral researcher with the Alabama Natural Heritage Program and AU Museum of Natural History, describes his mouth-to-mouth resuscitation of a turtle, performed while conducting research in Mobile Bay. In addition to recounting the rescue, the article highlights the diversity of our region, and the importance of the work by our new Heritage Program colleagues.  It’s a great read!
